So here goes my first Halloween Post! I had an empty Goldfish Box and though that could make a cute Halloween Haunted House and so I went to work. The end result is more than I had expected and I am so excited to share with you!
All you need is an empty Goldfish Box, Black Spray Paint, yellow tissue paper, small Halloween Foam stickers, tape and a small battery powered light.
First, I just spray painted the Goldfish Box with some left over black spray paint. It took 2 good coats with a 3rd touch up but this could be due to my lack of spray paint experience. I then allowed the box to dry for a full 24 hours before moving on to the next step.
Next I just cut out windows on three sides of the box and a door on the fourth side. I used an old steak knife cause I could not find my Exacto knife. I liked the steak knife cause it left some of the edges a little raggedy and that was the look I was going for!

Then I took yellow tissue paper and cut out slightly bigger than the window openings and taped on the inside to cover all the openings, including the door.

Next I took some small Halloween Foam stickers and stuck them on the inside of the box onto the yellow tissue paper. And I the found a jack-o-lantern light that was missing the battery cover but still worked for my light on the inside of the house.
Finally I put Velcro on the top to keep the house closed. But I can still open to turn the light on and off.

And here is the house with the light on!
I add a few of the foam stickers to the outside so that during the day the house is still Halloween and Cute! I am so excited to have this on my Halloween “mantel!!”
